From Local Roots to Regional Leadership
1992
Tom Fassas purchased JR Pump & Tank, a Gilbarco distributor, and transformed it into Petro Serv Inc - a full-service hub in Richmond, KY.
2008
Petro Serv Inc. expanded to the Louisville market by purchasing Towery Equipment, founded in 1932, and launched Petro Towery to honor its legacy.
2010
Petro Towery acquired Ross Petroleum Equipment in Somerset, KY, establishing our third office and reinforcing our Kentucky market presence.
2021
Oliver Welch acquired Petro Towery from Tom Fassas on January 1st.
2021
Petro Towery acquired Adams Construction.
2022
A branch office in Cincinnati, OH was opened.
2024
Petro Towery now runs four regional offices, employs over 100 people, and is the largest local petroleum distributor and installer in Kentucky and surrounding communities.
